Community Cords (CC) exists to bring hope and love to the impoverished women in the Philippines. These women find themselves with many mouths to feed, with no help or end in sight, and few options to make money. Sometimes women in this part of the world, with no money or skills to provide for their families, turn to selling their bodies.

Through Community Cords, women are given an opportunity to rise above the depression and hardships of poverty. CC teaches these women the art of bracelet making to help them provide for their families and give them hope for a better future. By purchasing a cord, you are helping to break the cycles that have entangled so many women and their families. You become a vital part in their upward climb out of poverty by providing hope, financial opportunity, and professional training for a brighter future.
